A male patient with a potential round of the jaw like a small range small chin? This procedure may be called for this? any guesses?
Fell into the category of "maxillofacial" surgery although the term refers to the upper jaw bone structure. The length of the lower jaw is' mandible. Surgery I think you are referring to is called "Reduction of the jaw (or rebuild). A Cosmetic Surgeon refers to this type of procedure maxillofacial surgeon license in most cases. I hope this helps.
